  • Chapter 2, Verse 24, The Cow
    سُوۡرَةُ البَقَرَة
    فَإِن لَّمۡ تَفۡعَلُواْ وَلَن تَفۡعَلُواْ فَٱتَّقُواْ ٱلنَّارَ ٱلَّتِي وَقُودُهَا ٱلنَّاسُ وَٱلۡحِجَارَةُۖ أُعِدَّتۡ لِلۡكَٰفِرِينَ
    fain lam tafaaaloo walan tafaaaloo faittaqoo alnnara allatee waqooduha alnnasu waalhijaratu oaaiddat lilkafireena
    But if you do it not, and you can never do it, then fear the Fire (Hell) whose fuel is men and stones, prepared for the disbelievers.
  • Chapter 7, Verse 98, The heights
    سورة الأعراف
    أَوَ أَمِنَ أَهۡلُ ٱلۡقُرَىٰٓ أَن يَأۡتِيَهُم بَأۡسُنَا ضُحٗى وَهُمۡ يَلۡعَبُونَ
    awa amina ahlu alqura an yatiyahum basuna duhan wahum yalaaaboona
    Or, did the people of the towns then feel secure against the coming of Our Punishment in the forenoon while they play?
  • Chapter 19, Verse 71, Mary
    سورة مريم
    وَإِن مِّنكُمۡ إِلَّا وَارِدُهَاۚ كَانَ عَلَىٰ رَبِّكَ حَتۡمٗا مَّقۡضِيّٗا
    wain minkum illa wariduha kana aaala rabbika hatman maqdiyyan
    There is not one of you but will pass over it (Hell); this is with your Lord; a Decree which must be accomplished.

    qala khuthha wala takhaf sanuaaeeduha seerataha aloola
    Allah said:"Grasp it, and fear not, We shall return it to its former state,
  • Chapter 20, Verse 59, Taha
    سورة طه
    قَالَ مَوۡعِدُكُمۡ يَوۡمُ ٱلزِّينَةِ وَأَن يُحۡشَرَ ٱلنَّاسُ ضُحٗى
    qala mawaaidukum yawmu alzzeenati waan yuhshara alnnasu duhan
    [Musa (Moses)] said: "Your appointed meeting is the day of the festival, and let the people assemble when the sun has risen (forenoon)."
  • Chapter 24, Verse 40, The Light
    سورة النور
    أَوۡ كَظُلُمَٰتٖ فِي بَحۡرٖ لُّجِّيّٖ يَغۡشَىٰهُ مَوۡجٞ مِّن فَوۡقِهِۦ مَوۡجٞ مِّن فَوۡقِهِۦ سَحَابٞۚ ظُلُمَٰتُۢ بَعۡضُهَا فَوۡقَ بَعۡضٍ إِذَآ أَخۡرَجَ يَدَهُۥ لَمۡ يَكَدۡ يَرَىٰهَاۗ وَمَن لَّمۡ يَجۡعَلِ ٱللَّهُ لَهُۥ نُورٗا فَمَا لَهُۥ مِن نُّورٍ
    aw kathulumatin fee bahrin lujjiyyin yaghshahu mawjun min fawqihi mawjun min fawqihi sahabun thulumatun baaaduha fawqa baaadin itha akhraja yadahu lam yakad yaraha waman lam yajaaali allahu lahu nooran fama lahu min noorin
    Or [the state of a disbeliever] is like the darkness in a vast deep sea, overwhelmed with a great wave topped by a great wave, topped by dark clouds, darkness, one above another, if a man stretches out his hand, he can hardly see it! And he for whom Allah has not appointed light, for him there is no light.
  • Chapter 57, Verse 21, The Iron
    سورة الحديد
    سَابِقُوا إِلَىٰ مَغْفِرَةٍ مِنْ رَبِّكُمْ وَجَنَّةٍ عَرْضُهَا كَعَرْضِ السَّمَاءِ وَالْأَرْضِ أُعِدَّتْ لِلَّذِينَ آمَنُوا بِاللَّهِ وَرُسُلِهِ ۚ ذَٰلِكَ فَضْلُ اللَّهِ يُؤْتِيهِ مَنْ يَشَاءُ ۚ وَاللَّهُ ذُو الْفَضْلِ الْعَظِيمِ
    sabiqoo ila maghfiratin min rabbikum wajannatin aaarduha kaaaardi alssamai waalardi oaaiddat lillatheena amanoo biallahi warusulihi thalika fadlu allahi yuteehi man yashao waallahu thoo alfadli alaaatheemi
    Race one with another in hastening towards Forgiveness from your Lord (Allah), and towards Paradise, the width whereof is as the width of heaven and earth, prepared for those who believe in Allah and His Messengers. That is the Grace of Allah which He bestows on whom He pleases. And Allah is the Owner of Great Bounty.
  • Chapter 66, Verse 6, Banning
    سورة التحريم
    يَا أَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا قُوا أَنْفُسَكُمْ وَأَهْلِيكُمْ نَارًا وَقُودُهَا النَّاسُ وَالْحِجَارَةُ عَلَيْهَا مَلَائِكَةٌ غِلَاظٌ شِدَادٌ لَا يَعْصُونَ اللَّهَ مَا أَمَرَهُمْ وَيَفْعَلُونَ مَا يُؤْمَرُونَ
    ya ayyuha allatheena amanoo qoo anfusakum waahleekum naran waqooduha alnnasu waalhijaratu aaalayha malaikatun ghilathun shidadun la yaaasoona allaha ma amarahum wayafaaaloona ma yumaroona
    O you who believe! Ward off from yourselves and your families a Fire (Hell) whose fuel is men and stones, over which are (appointed) angels stern (and) severe, who disobey not, (from executing) the Commands they receive from Allah, but do that which they are commanded.
  • Chapter 3, Verse 34, The family of Imran
    سورة آل عمران
    ذُرِّيَّةَۢ بَعۡضُهَا مِنۢ بَعۡضٖۗ وَٱللَّهُ سَمِيعٌ عَلِيمٌ
    thurriyyatan baaaduha min baaadin waallahu sameeaaun aaaleemun
    Offspring, one of the other, and Allah is the All-Hearer, All-Knower.
  • Chapter 3, Verse 133, The family of Imran
    سورة آل عمران
    وَسَارِعُوٓاْ إِلَىٰ مَغۡفِرَةٖ مِّن رَّبِّكُمۡ وَجَنَّةٍ عَرۡضُهَا ٱلسَّمَٰوَٰتُ وَٱلۡأَرۡضُ أُعِدَّتۡ لِلۡمُتَّقِينَ
    wasariaaoo ila maghfiratin min rabbikum wajannatin aaarduha alssamawatu waalardu oaaiddat lilmuttaqeena
    And march forth in the way (which leads to) forgiveness from your Lord, and for Paradise as wide as are the heavens and the earth, prepared for Al-Muttaqun (the pious - see V. 2:2).
