Chapter 23, Verse 67, The Believers
سورة المؤمنون
مُسۡتَكۡبِرِينَ بِهِۦ سَٰمِرٗا تَهۡجُرُونَ
In pride (they Quraish pagans and polytheists of makkah used to feel proud that they are the dwellers of makkah sanctuary Haram), talking evil about it (the Quran) by night.
Chapter 37, Verse 38, Those who set the ranks
سورة الصافات
إِنَّكُمۡ لَذَآئِقُواْ ٱلۡعَذَابِ ٱلۡأَلِيمِ
Verily, you (pagans of makkah) are going to taste the painful torment;
Chapter 90, Verse 1, The City
سورة البلد
لَآ أُقۡسِمُ بِهَٰذَا ٱلۡبَلَدِ
I swear by this city (makkah);
Chapter 3, Verse 96, The family of Imran
سورة آل عمران
إِنَّ أَوَّلَ بَيۡتٖ وُضِعَ لِلنَّاسِ لَلَّذِي بِبَكَّةَ مُبَارَكٗا وَهُدٗى لِّلۡعَٰلَمِينَ
Verily, the first House (of worship) appointed for mankind was that at bakkah (makkah), full of blessing, and a guidance for Al-'Alamin (the mankind and jinns).
Chapter 95, Verse 3, The Fig
سورة التين
وَهَٰذَا ٱلۡبَلَدِ ٱلۡأَمِينِ
And by this city of security (makkah).
